Every other year Limelight Academy students perform a showcase of Dance, Drama and singing. This is an exciting and enjoyable time for students, learning new and imaginative dances, developing an understanding of performance quality and appreciating first hand the workings of performing on stage. All this combined with wonderful costumes, innovative choreography and music, complete this rewarding experience.
Throughout the Academy year, pupils are given the chance to audition for a variety of professional work including local pantomimes and Ballets. We believe this will give students an excellent experience of the profession, giving them a valuable insight into their chosen career. Pupils will also be given the opportunity to perform at local fetes, charity events and London's West End theatres!!

On the 5th December 2010 a group of Limelight's students performed at Her Majesty's Theatre in London.
The show called 'The Christmas Stars in our Eyes' was organised by Mardi Gras Productions to give young performers the opportunity to perform on a prestigious London stage.
The students performed two numbers which were 'Something in my Memory' and 'Fame'. Both numbers were choreographed by Miss Vicki and were spectacularly performed by all involved.
"Congratulations to all pupils who took part in this recent show, we received some wonderful complements on your performance and I look forward to the next one!!"
Miss Vicki
